What should I know before hiring a house cleaner?
Lakewood Clean & Care sends a vetted, background-checked and insured team with eco-friendly products. You do not need to be home, your first clean takes longest, and payment is due after the visit. Pricing is flat-rate from $170, with free estimates and no long-term contracts.

Common questions
Do you offer a satisfaction guarantee?
Yes. If anything is not right after your clean, tell us within 24 hours of your visit and we will come back to make it right at no extra charge. Your satisfaction is our priority, and the policy is on our booking policies page.
Do you clean homes with pets?
We love pets and treat them like our own. Your special instructions are noted on our work order so the cleaner knows your wishes about your animals.
Do I need to tip my cleaners?
It is not expected, but it is greatly appreciated for work well done. Please make sure any cash left as a tip is marked as such. 100% of tips go directly to the cleaning technicians who performed the job.
Which holidays do you observe?
We observe New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. If a routine cleaning falls on one of these, we will contact you in advance to reschedule. We work on many other federal holidays.
Will my first cleaning take longer?
Yes. To bring your home up to our standard, the first cleaning takes longer than later visits. This lets us give your space the deep cleaning it deserves and learn your home’s unique needs.
Do I need to be home during the cleaning?
No, though it is your choice. Most customers are not home, and the vast majority use a lockbox or trust us with a key and alarm code. All house keys are individually coded and secured in our office.
Will I get the same cleaners each time?
We make our best effort to send the same cleaners each time because it is the most efficient, but we cannot guarantee it. If an alternate cleaner is sent, they have detailed information about your preferences to keep service consistent.
When is payment due?
Payment is due at the time of service. We charge your card on file after your cleaning is completed.
What cleaning products do you use?
We bring our own eco-friendly, non-toxic cleaning products and equipment.
Are your cleaners insured and background-checked?
Yes. Every cleaner is vetted, background-checked, trained and fully insured.
